Working at Araluen Christian College
Because of God’s great love for us, and the calling He has placed on our lives to work at Araluen Christian College, we have a mandate to show His love to the children, and families, in our care. Following the example of Jesus, we need to serve them and each other as we share our time together. As mature Christians, we have a responsibility to “make disciples” of those within our College community, a process which involves modeling, encouraging, teaching and at times correcting.
We are all fallible humans. We all need guidance and correction undertaken with a spirit of grace and forgiveness which reflects that of the Father, revealed through Jesus Christ his son.
As Christian adults, we daily to seek God’s wisdom and empowerment through prayer and the reading of His holy Word. We need to continually display the Fruit of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control – as we carry out our day to day role in the positions to which He has called us.
As a team, we are here to serve God’s purposes and each other. In God’s eyes, we are all equal, regardless of role or position. Through our daily interactions, we are also all teachers of children. As we work under the banner of Araluen Christian College, our Christianity is always on display.
Positions vacant, when they become available are advertised on the NT Christian Schools website and in our local Alice Springs newspaper
