What qualities do you look for in a teacher? Think about your own time at school. Who were your best teachers?
As committed Christians, our staff do not view their jobs as simply earning a living, but as opportunities to make a difference in the lives of the children with whom they interact. They believe that students are individuals and endeavour to love, nurture, help, protect and prepare them through positive teaching.
Some people imagine Christianity can be taught like Maths. Beliefs and values are "caught" as well as taught. Staff develop warm relationships with students which are similar to those expressed at home. Our hope is that students will observe these relationships and put them into practice with those around them. God is a God of love, and we desire to create an environment at Araluen where love abounds.
All staff employed at Araluen Christian College are mature Christians with a demonstrated commitment to Christ. All staff are appropriately qualified and teachers have current registration with the Teachers Registration Board of the Northern Territory. All staff have current Police checks and Ochre cards.
